The number of civilians killed in the shelling of Kharkiv by the Russian occupiers has risen to eight, including a five-month-old baby. 17 people were injured.

According to preliminary information, the occupiers fired from howitzers.

Police said that when the shelling began, a young family was walking on the street: his wife and husband, who had a five-month-old baby in his arms. The man died immediately, the woman was hospitalized in serious condition. Police later found the child’s body, which was snatched from his father’s arms by an explosive wave and thrown onto the roof of the porch.
