In the Mariupol district, the occupiers are imprisoning and shooting Ukrainian volunteers and officials. All of them refused to cooperate with collaborators and the occupation authorities.

This was reported by the press service of the City Council with reference to the mayor of Mariupol Vadym Boychenko. 

According to the mayor, the fake DNR court sentenced the head of one of the Azov villages to 10 years in prison. At least one civil servant was executed by firing squad. 

Dozens of volunteers are also being held in the Olenivka prison. In March-April, they helped evacuate Mariupol residents and tried to deliver food and water to the blocked city.
