In the evening of June 7, Russian troops, who have been waging war against Ukraine for more than 100 days  , fired on Kharkiv. One person was killed and three others were injured.

The mayor Igor Terekhov reported about it during a telemarathon.

According to him, one of the residential areas of Kharkiv was shelled.

“Unfortunately, there is one person who died. So far we have information about three wounded. The shelling of Kharkiv does not stop . And in the morning there were shellings, the Russian aggressor does not leave Kharkiv alone, constantly keeps people in tension,” Terekhov said.

He added that rescuers are currently working at the site of the tragedy to provide assistance to the victims. 

Oleg Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, said that today the Russians fired on Kharkiv from the artillery and the villages of Cherkaska Lozova, Slatyne in the Kharkiv district and Korobochkine in the Chuhuiv district. According to preliminary information, at least 3 people were killed and at  least six were injured .

“The scale of the destruction and the final number of casualties are being determined. The shelling may continue today. So it is very dangerous to be on the streets now. I urge everyone to stay in hiding! Be careful and take care of yourself! Unable to fight the Armed Forces , – wrote Sinegubov in Telegram.
