Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the army of Russia’s aggressor country has killed more than 22,000 people in Mariupol.
Now during the occupation of Russia the number of mass graves around Mariupol is growing. Mayor Vadym Boychenko says the Russians “destroyed Mariupol like ordinary terrorists and murderers.”
He stated this during the all-Ukrainian information telethon.
“They killed more than 22,000 locals. They destroyed 50% of our high-rise buildings, that is, turned them to ashes. That is, they did more harm than the Nazis during the two years of occupation. Let me remind you that from 1941 to 1943, the Nazis killed Hitler a little more than 10,000 people, “Boychenko said.
According to him, the city was on the verge of an outbreak of infectious diseases due to rising temperatures. In addition, Mariupol has no water, no electricity, and sewerage is not working today.
