Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, 478 civilians have been killed during active hostilities in the Chernihiv region, including 334 men, 122 women, and 22 minors. Another 692 were wounded. This was reported in the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the prosecutor’s office, most people died as a result of air strikes and constant artillery shelling.
According to these and other facts of crimes committed by Russians, law enforcement agencies have launched 1,263 criminal proceedings. In particular, under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war) – 866 proceedings, under Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) – 349.
In addition, 22 Russian servicemen have already been reported as suspects. An indictment was filed against one serviceman.
