Work to restore the power grids damaged by the occupiers is underway almost throughout the Donetsk region.

“Currently, the worst situation is in Pokrovsky, Bakhmut and Slovyansk districts. There is the largest number of power outages. And there are constant shellings. In the last 24 hours alone, the company returned light to 5,000 customers in Pokrovsky and Bakhmut districts.

According to him, the company provides power engineers with everything they need, provides them with bulletproof vests and helmets to minimize the risk to their lives.

“Power engineers are brave people. They go and do their job. I am proud of them and sincerely thank them for this work ,” Saharuk concluded.

It will be recalled that last week Rinat Akhmetov’s emergency repair crews managed to fully or partially restore power supply to 440,000 customers in almost 300 settlements in the Donetsk region.
