The world has done nothing to punish Russia after the atrocities in Bucha , so the occupiers felt impunity and are not afraid of responsibility for their actions.

This was stated by the adviser to the head of the President’s Office Alexei Arestovich in a conversation with Russian human rights activist and journalist Mark Feigin .

Arestovich does not rule out that Russia may have announced the “accession” of Kherson and most of the Zaporozhye region.

“The Russians have realized that they will not be harmed by the” accession “of Kherson and Zaporizhia regions. They see no signs, at least from our European allies, and from the United States, any increase in sanctions or additional weapons to Ukraine,” he said.

A spokesman for the OP said that Putin and his henchmen were very frightened after Bucha.

That’s why they were so kind in the negotiations. That’s why they postponed the offensive in Donbass , because they thought that their world would “break”  after the atrocities. And the world did nothing after Bucha . Well, some package of sanctions, talks about weapons.
