“We are going to open a mine in Dniprorudny. The call is going to the villages for the workers to go to the mine. And our relatives who worked at the mine are going to leave because they are invited to go there to work. They are afraid of becoming collaborators. My family has left. with three small children in Zaporizhia, because they can be taken as collaborators. 1,000 hryvnias, “the woman said.
The head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Starukh noted that the seizure of the Zaporizhia Iron Ore Plant threatens the environmental situation in the region. It is the only enterprise in Ukraine that extracts iron ore from a depth of 1 km, and raw materials do not require enrichment.
“The plant has not been operating since March. If the pumping stations do not work, the water in the mine will rise to a critical point in 3 weeks and pollute groundwater with iron ore.
