According to the press service of the City Council, the Russian occupiers are resorting to manipulation and tricks to force people to return and detain them there as long as possible.

The fact that the information disseminated is not true is evidenced by the absence in the lists of houses that were completely destroyed, and on the contrary by the presence of surviving houses marked “demolished.” The occupiers and collaborators manipulated Mariupol residents to come to the city to save some surviving property, or to return to live, because the housing is supposed to be repaired, “the publication reads. 

The City Council urged Mariupol residents not to trust the occupiers, because they want to return people to Mariupol to use them in labor slavery and create a “living shield” to cover themselves with them when the Armed Forces begin to liberate the city.
