The Russian occupiers have strengthened internal control over the exit from Mariupol to territories controlled by Ukraine.
The councilor of the city mayor, Petro Andryushchenko, notes that this is connected with the growth of migration towards Ukraine. Therefore, the new “authority” is trying to keep people.
He wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
According to him, now entry into the city from the Zaporozhye side is allowed only with a pass. It can be obtained only on the territory of the Donetsk region in the district police departments of the occupiers. “This means repeated interrogations by the FSB during the issuance of a pass, even in the presence of “filtration,” Andryushchenko emphasized.
However, the queue for passes is long – reaching several weeks. In this way, the Russians are trying to artificially slow down the evacuation process.
