Enemy shelling is also recorded in Kharkiv itself. The North Saltivka and Oleksiyivka districts still suffer from Russian shelling. The mayor said today that the enemy had destroyed 30 percent of the city’s housing stock. However, in the most devastated area, utilities in Saltivka are restoring electricity. And local authorities are already preparing to launch the subway. Today it was announced that it will happen on May 24.

Currently, there are still people living in the metro, there are almost 2 hundred Kharkiv residents living at different stations. Half of them are permanent, others come to spend the night.
