Russia’s war against Ukraine – the main events of June 3
According to the data of the Presidential Office and the KSE, after 100 days of full-scale war the direct losses of Ukraine exceed $600 billion, of which about $105 billion were losses from damage to the infrastructure. Ukraine has lost 35% of its GDP, some 200 factories, and most importantly, tens of thousands of civilians and thousands of lives of Ukraine’s military personnel.
Mariupol, Kharkiv, Chernigov, Sevierodonetsk, and Lysychansk suffered the most from the destruction of residential buildings. In total, in 100 days, the war waged by the Russian Federation resulted in damage, destruction or loss of property:
Over 44 million square meters of Ukrainian housing;
23.8 thousand kilometers of roads,
6.3 thousand km of railway tracks
41 railroad stations,
643 health care institutions,
1123 educational institutions,
621 kindergartens,
19 oil depots,
19 shopping centers.
These statistics only partially reflect the millions of broken lives of Ukrainians who lost their loved ones, were forced to leave their homes, or were occupied or deported.
