Adviser to the head of the President’s Office Oleksiy Arestovych said that the situation in Kharkiv region may worsen this week.
Russian occupation forces have amassed forces and may begin advancing toward Kharkiv.
Arestovich spoke about this in a conversation with Russian lawyer, human rights activist Mark Feigin on June 18.
I quote the president. He said yesterday that the week will be historic. He mainly said this about voting for the transfer of Ukraine’s candidate status to the EU, but warned that Kharkiv will be attacked and there will be a big battle around Severodonetsk. “In the south of the Belgorod region, it is possible that it will start moving this week and will be sent to Kharkiv. We do not know for sure, but it cannot be ruled out because it has reached the stage of operational readiness,” he said.
Arestovich noted that the enemy continues to move in the north of the region and launches missile strikes on Kharkiv.
