Russian troops are destroying the civilian infrastructure of the region — people are being urged to evacuate as soon as possible
The situation in Donetsk region is worsening — almost the entire territory of the region is currently under massive shelling.

Tetyana Ignatchenko , the spokeswoman of the Donetsk Regional Government Center, told about this in the studio of the Donbas24 TV channel .

Where is the most difficult situation in the region
Currently, the most uneasy situation is in Sloviansk. In recent days, the settlement has been shelling, as a result of which civilians have been killed and injured. Yes, yesterday, July 6, the Russians attacked Toretsk. Three rockets flew into the city, there was considerable destruction. A family – a grandmother, a mother and a daughter – died under the rubble of the houses.

According to the spokeswoman of the Donetsk Regional Office, the Rashists are using scorched earth tactics. Their main goal is to sow panic among the population.

“There are no bridges that can rightly be called safe, because Russian artillery, salvo fire systems, missiles can cover the entire territory of the region,” she explained.
Communal situation
As Tetyana Ignatchenko reported, the communal situation in Donetsk region is difficult – there has been no gas in the region for about a month. To restore it, it is necessary to push back the front line. Water and electricity supply in Donetsk is slightly better, but water wells, filter stations and power stations are potential targets of the Russian occupiers. As of July 7, there is a partial blackout in the region — about 150 settlements are without power. In addition, such cities as Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka, Toretsk are partially without water, or water is supplied to people hourly.

Water delivery is also organized for the residents – local authorities and rescuers provide significant assistance in this matter.

“The main goal of the leadership of the region and our Armed Forces is simply to defend the region and knock out the Rashists from it. Drive them across the Russian-Ukrainian border. At the same time, a lot of attention is paid to solving communal problems and problems. Therefore, we ask everyone who is not involved in the process of defending the region and supporting the critical infrastructure of the region’s vital activities to leave the region,” the spokeswoman of the Donetsk Regional Office emphasized.
How is medical assistance provided in the region and is there a possibility for evacuation
Due to heavy shelling in the region, not all hospitals are working. Most medical facilities have moved and been evacuated. According to Tetyana Ignatchenko, now health care actually accepts only urgent patients. People are urged to take care of their lives, their safety and evacuate. This especially applies to pregnant women and people with health risks. At the same time, there is no shortage of medicines in the region. Donetsk region has connections with other regions – medicine and food products are imported here. In addition, some shops and stores are open, residents have the opportunity to withdraw cash from a limited number of ATMs.

Finally, she noted that the evacuation of people continues — residents can leave either by their own transport or by regular buses or a train departing from Pokrovsk.
