TSN reported in March about the Pavlyuk family and the soldier who helped them evacuate . Then a photo of the rescue of a child from hellish Irpen appeared on the cover of TIME. And now – on the hundredth day of the war – the family was finally able to return home.
In early March, the Pavlyuks and their tiny daughter Emma were sitting at the station at night and could not even imagine what would happen next. “People approached us at once, locals, those who work at this station, asked if you had a place to live,” Oleg recalls.
And they just evacuated from Irpen and how it was – the whole world saw. After all, the moment of salvation came on the cover of a world-famous publication.
