“Dnipropetrovsk region is in second place after Lviv region. 109 thousand people are registered in the regional center alone, in Kryvyi Rih – 60 thousand. And unofficially – the figure can be multiplied by 2 or 2.5,” said Filatov.
According to him, now there are no issues with the accommodation of migrants, but the authorities are worried about what will happen when the heating season begins: “People will not be able to live in houses in the woods at camps.”
He also noted that many migrants from Mariupol used to work in the communal sphere and are now looking for work. And in the city of Dnipro, where some communal workers were mobilized, there are vacancies.
At the same time, according to Filatov, 10% of all missile attacks in Ukraine fall on the Dnipropetrovsk region, every day the Russians fire on the region from “Hurricanes” and artillery.
“The difficult situation in the Kryvyi Rih district, constant artillery shelling in the Zelenodolsk community, Apostolovo, Velyka Kostromka -” Hurricanes “and artillery arrive every day,” he said.
Given the military situation, Filatov does not yet recommend women with children and the elderly to return to the city.
