During the occupation of Bucha, pseudo-calls by ambulance invaders to kill local medics were recorded. A Russian sniper was usually waiting for the doctors.
Lyudmila Skakalova, a paramedic at the Bucha Emergency Medical Substation, remained in the city during the occupation. She shared details of Russian crimes in Bucha. Thus, several pseudo-calls by Russians to ambulances were recorded. A sniper was waiting for medics on the spot instead of the wounded man.
“There were even two provocations. A Russian sniper was sitting there, but we didn’t leave. Because then there was no call to this address. The Russians were deliberately provoking to destroy medical workers,” said the paramedic.
The driver was injured among the ambulance staff. He went on a call with his son and a representative of the defense. The car came under fire, the fighter, unfortunately, died, and the driver and his son were injured.
Lyudmila remained in the city after the evacuation and provided medical care to the wounded who were brought to the basement of the hospital. The woman never admitted to the occupiers that she was a doctor.
