In Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast, children, women, and the elderly remain in basements. This is how they are rescued from shelling by the Russian army, and they do not even have the most basic things – food and water.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“Hundreds of people are stuck in basements. Many are sitting without food and water. Small children, women, and elderly people are in the basements,” the report said.
According to the State Emergencies Service, the entire territory of the Luhansk region is under the target fire of Russian troops.
“During the day due to shelling there was significant destruction in Severodonetsk, Lisichansk, Viktorovka, Novoivanovka, Volcheyarovka, Pochechnoye and Gorske,” the rescuers add.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that there are about 500 civilians, including 40 children, in the territory of the Severodonetsk Azot plant, which is controlled by Ukrainian troops.
