This was reported by Ukrinform.
It is reported that in Nova Kakhovka on June 14, the Russian occupiers abducted retired spouses – Chugui Nikolai and Lyudmila, born in 1951 and 1957, respectively.
According to witnesses, the family was abducted from their home early in the morning. Eight armed soldiers of the Russian Federation arrived to the estate of pensioners in two cars. The man was put in one car and the woman in another. The abductees were taken away in an unknown direction.
According to relatives, Chugaev could be kept in the basement of the city police building, where the Russians set up an office of their so-called commandant’s office. However, today it became known that the couple was taken to occupied Kherson.
It is noted that both Chugai have chronic diseases: Mykola suffers from arthritis and has difficulty walking. Ludmila has hypertension. Relatives emphasize that keeping pensioners without the necessary medication can endanger their lives.
Chugai’s relatives call on the International Committee of the Red Cross to intervene and help liberate the family.
