Restoring the damaged temples of Luhansk Region means rebuilding them anew
The number of churches damaged and completely destroyed by the war in Severodonetsk and other cities of the Luhansk region is already counted by dozens. Due to Russian aggression against Ukraine, more than 40 churches were damaged. Some are no longer physically present, reports Donbas24.

The press service of the Severodonetsk Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church published a list of the affected churches.

The religious buildings of the cities, which were turned into an arena of hostilities by the Russians, were damaged, broken, completely destroyed or burned beyond repair. According to the diocese, more than 40 churches, chapels and other parish buildings on its territory are in this condition.

At the same time, it is impossible to establish the exact number and degree of damage to some churches, as hostilities continue in populated areas.
