At the end of February, when the Russian Federation had already begun a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, columns of racists were moving towards Kyiv along the Zhytomyr highway. Thanks to a 15-year-old teenager who helped the Armed Forces and established the exact coordinates of the racists, the attack on the capital did not take place.

The heroic deed of the child was confirmed by his parents. The head of the Ukrainian Federation of Drone Owners and the commander of the unmanned reconnaissance unit of the Armed Forces also commented on the boy’s merits.

“He was the only one who had experience working with drones in this region. He is a real hero, a hero of Ukraine,” said Yuri Kasyanov, commander of the unmanned reconnaissance unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The boy was approached by the military, who asked him to use his drone and try to obtain GPS coordinates of the Russian column. The child agreed.

The boy admits that he was very scared to watch the occupiers with a drone. However, the teenager did not want the racists to seize Kyiv. Therefore, he helped the Armed Forces.

“They gave us information about where the Russian column might be. Our goal was to find the exact coordinates and give the coordinates to the soldiers. It was one of the largest columns moving on the Zhytomyr road, and we managed to find it because one of the trucks did not last long. turned off the headlights, “Pokras recalls of his feat.

The boy’s father passed on the information about the column of occupiers to the military. As a result, the occupiers were destroyed near Berezivka, about 40 km west of Kyiv.

Taras Troyak also told how Pokrasa discovered a Russian column that crossed the border with Belarus and was on the route between Zhytomyr and Kyiv. The man is a former drone seller, now he heads the Federation of Drone Owners of Ukraine.

“This boy sent GPS coordinates, and the Russians were eliminated after that,” Troyak said.

15-year-old Pokras, who saved Kyiv from the invasion of the occupiers, became interested in drones, fighting his fear. The boy was afraid of heights and decided to watch a video in which drones shoot cities from a bird’s eye view. This captured the teenager and he and his father gathered on a mini-drone. Pokras and his father sold and bought cryptocurrencies, the money they earned they spent on capturing a teenager.

When Russia launched a full-scale invasion, the teenager first stayed at home with his family. A few days later, it turned out that he was the only person in the region with a working drone. The boy agreed to help the military, but neighbors were opposed to him launching a drone near their yards. People feared that this would make their homes a target for the occupiers.

Then the father and son decided to go out into the field and watch the movement of the occupiers at night. Fortunately, the teenager managed to spot a column of racists, it was two kilometers from the child. Then the military gave Pokras a more “serious” drone with a longer range. The teenager continued to help the Armed Forces and monitored the movement of Russian equipment.

The boy is currently in Poland. He does not consider the Russian army “the strongest” and is glad that he helped the military to defend Ukraine from the occupiers.
