In the Kiev region near the village of Demidov the road bridge over the Irpen river, which was destroyed by a mine explosion after a lightning strike, was resumed, said the deputy head of the presidential office Kirill Timoshenko.

“Near the village of Demidov the bridge over the Irpen River has started working. The same one that was destroyed by lightning,” he wrote on Friday morning.

The work to restore the connection lasted two weeks, as the explosion destroyed the structures of two spans.
