A serviceman of the National Guard, who defends Ukraine in the Zaporozhye region, shot down the sixth enemy Su-25 with the Igla MANPADS . The 19-year-old conscript was nicknamed the “Zaporizhia avenger” in social networks.

The National Guard added that the day before, around ten o’clock in the evening on July 16, a defender shot down a Russian cruise missile. And already today, by the morning of July 17, he hit the sixth Su-25 on his account.

Shortly before that, the defender shot down two enemy attack aircraft during air raids on the positions of our soldiers.

He himself said that he began to be called the “Zaporizhia avenger” after the destruction of three Russian planes. Then he assured that he had shot down not “already” three, but “another” three attack aircraft and would shoot them down as many times as necessary – until victory itself.

“In principle, I like it, and so do my comrades. But the main thing is that it has results – fewer enemy planes will destroy our cities, and their pilots will know that their flight may be the last,” says the fighter.

Now he has six Su-25s and one cruise missile of the occupiers.
