During June 16, Russian occupation forces fired on 11 settlements in Donetsk. Two people were injured.
This was reported by the press service of the Donetsk police.
The occupiers opened fire from tanks, artillery, mortars, MLRS “Hail” and “Hurricane” also fired X-22 and X-59MK missiles. Avdiivka, New York, Toretsk, Krasnohorivka, Novoukrainka, Nelipivka, Kurdyumivka, Ocheretyne, Bakhmut, Stara Mykolaivka and Zaitsevo came under fire.
“42 civilian facilities were destroyed: 32 residential buildings, a children’s art center, an educational institution, medical centers, a correctional facility, a business and cars,” the statement said.
As of the morning of June 17, 336 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity, and there is no water supply in 174 settlements.
According to all the facts, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
