Since the beginning of the war, 104 children have suffered because of shelling in Kharkiv region.
During the fixation of criminal offenses it became known about the death of an 11-year-old child in Chuguevsky district. The girl died during the shelling of the occupants of Chuguev district back on February 25. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
As of the morning of May 25, there were 104 children injured as a result of shelling in Kharkiv Oblast. A total of 671 children in Ukraine were affected by the Russian war: 238 children were killed and 433 were wounded.
The regions where children suffered the most: Donetsk region – 149 children, Kyiv region – 116, Kharkiv region – 104, Chernihiv region – 68, Lugansk region – 50, Kherson region – 49, Nikolaev region – 45, Zaporizhia region – 28, Sumy region – 17, Kiev region – 16 and Zhitomir region – 15.
“These data are not final, as work continues to establish them in places of active hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated territories,” the Office of the Prosecutor General explained.
