Russian invaders took control of the village of Metolkine near Severodonetsk. According to Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, fierce fighting is currently taking place in many settlements near the regional center and Lysychansk.

Over the past 24 hours, the aggressor has increased the intensity of shelling in the Luhansk region with artillery of various calibers, actively inflicted air strikes.

“The Russians are working hard on the Severodonetsk industrial zone and the outskirts of the city. The same is true in the Toshkivka and Ustynivka districts, because the orcs want to make a breakthrough there, and for this purpose they have gathered a large amount of equipment there, ”the statement reads.
According to the mayor of Severodonetsk Oleksandr Stryuk, as of the morning of June 20, the enemy is in control of most residential areas of the city, fierce fighting continues almost continuously. He added that the Russians continue to actively use banned ammunition, and also do not stop taking the local population “whole neighborhoods” where they then deploy heavy weapons.
