According to intelligence reports, intense fighting is taking place throughout Luhansk Region, with street battles taking place on the outskirts of Sevierodonetsk in particular. However, the main goal of the Russian Federation is to occupy the entire territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

“In order to achieve this goal, Russia will need to achieve success beyond Severodonetsk, including the key city of Kramatorsk and the M04 Dnipro-Donetsk main road,” reads the statement.

It is also noted that the units of the Russian Federation’s Eastern grouping of forces are likely to gain the most successful direction with the support of the Central grouping of forces coming from the central part of the country. At the same time, the concentration of forces of the Russian forces in certain tensions induces them to go to risk in other places.

“The progress is solid, but the successes are being saved. Russia has achieved local successes, by means of the concentration of forces and fire on a relatively small territory,” reads the report.
