The urban publics of Irpen, Bucha and Gostomel are replete with eerie footage of the destruction and fires brought to these once thriving suburbs of Kyiv by the Russian occupiers. Where children played, families walked, cars drove, dogs barked merrily, pines and oaks grew, tulips and roses bloomed, now the earth is scorched, houses, corpses of people and animals are destroyed. All this brought with it the “Russian peace” that invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

We have collected some of these photos and videos taken by city residents and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who managed to squeeze orcs out of Irpen. To remember.
